Are You Ready to Pass the NCEES® Electrical Power CBT PE Exam?

Title says it all, and I'm comparing it to courses I took in college too. Zach's course made learning the material a breeze. Don't get me wrong, the material is still difficult, but Zach's videos and live classes made it so easy to digest. I didn't have to waste hours getting hung up on a small detail. It was so efficient to study using Zach's course. His practice exams on their own are enough of a reason to sign up for the course. The solutions are so detailed that I didn't have to look up any other resources to understand the problem. Once you take the NCEES practice exam, you'll realize how amazing Zach's practice exams are. Zach's course is an intense 11 weeks, but I felt so prepared heading into the exam, and I actually felt confident walking out of the exam! Zach's course is the best presentation of this type of material I've ever seen. 100x better than any university course I've taken. Zach covered every single detail such that there were no surprises come exam day. He even shows how to use the TI-36X calculator efficiently!

I cannot believe it, but I passed the Electrical Power PE on the first attempt. I couldn't have done it without this course. Zach has created awesome courses, helpful materials, and a supportive community. Do yourself the favor of signing up now!

Zach Stone's class was really well designed - I wasn't the most diligent student, but taking live classes, sanity checking answers I didn't understand with an active community, and especially his challenging practice tests, gave me a tool-kit that ensured there were no questions on the test I didn't have an idea how to tackle. I was recommended this class by colleagues, and I will join the chorus recommending it to others.

I purchased the 6 month unlimited on demand course and can safely say it was worth the money. I studied for about 5 months and attended live classes when they were held. Zach is a great instructor and is thorough with his explanations and teaching. He also includes detailed solutions for each problem featured in the end of section quizzes, as well as homework, and his practice exams. Cannot recommend this course enough

I took the PE test on my own back in 2019 and failed. I spent the time studying but had no roadmap and ultimately did not study the right things nor understand the core concepts. Fast forward to 2024 and I decided to take the test again and try my luck at the CBT. I had access to another review course through my company but had heard better things about Zach's class (and had used some of his free material back in 2019). I paid for Zach's class without the help of my company and it was the best decision. I ended up using the other review course just for extra practice problems because I got overwhelmed by the sheer amount of their content and was put to sleep by their instructor videos where they just read from slides. I took the live class in the summer and would highly recommend this option as it keeps you engaged and on track. Even if you're only able to watch the recordings and not attend live class, Zach keeps you engaged--his classes are far from an instructor regurgitating slides. Zach covers all the core concepts and explains them much better than any text book or other review course I've come across. He doesn't waste your time on niche topics that may or may not be on the test like other review courses (if they are on your test, the core concepts will help you guess at these or these points will not be needed since your core knowledge is so good). I wasn't quite prepared for the amount of time that the prework and homework was going to take for this class, but it was so helpful and gave purpose to my studying. Follow Zach's advice, dedicate the time, and you'll pass the CBT with flying colors.

Highly, Highly, Highly recommend using Electrical PE Review for preparing for the Electrical Power PE Exam. I really valued the live class recordings and homework. Zach does an amazing job at clarifying the complex material and simplifying it to allow better understanding and easier application.

I loved having a schedule set for me to know what I should be working on and when. The pre-work to lectures was very useful and I liked the structure of the course because doing the pre-work before the lectures ensured that you got the most out of class. It was also nice to have that information to look back at without having to look through a giant video. The material prepared me very nicely for the test.

Zach has put together an excellent course for the PE exam. Can't say enough good things about how through he is with all of the material and how great all of the notes and learning modules are. If you want to pass, take this course!

I took Zach's class and passed my PE on the second attempt. His retake guarantee was a real life saver. His class is really well constructed and covers all the topics. He breaks things down and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. There were very few questions that I couldn't at least make an educated guess at thanks to his class. Highly recommend!

The live class was truly beneficial for me for passing the exam. I was going back to the recordings and making sure I am learning the concepts I was making mistakes on. The live class is very encouraging and gave me firm foundation to do the practice tests and the actual exam.

I took the FE a few years ago and took another course. I did not pass, they gave me a free guarantee but the second time I did not pass. So I decided to study on my own and passed the third time. The major downfall is that the course was self study and not instructor led. It makes a difference. This time for the PE I decided that I was going to get as much help as possible and Zach’s course was recommended. So I invested in my chance of success and signed up for the course. It was exactly what I needed. Weekly accountability and a challenging study schedule. Five months of studying to the best of my ability I am relieved to say I passed and attribute a great deal to this course!

As someone who did not think they'd be able to pass the PE before, I have nothing but the best to say of Zach's course. I've taken the test more than once, but for the first time I felt completely prepared and managed to pass after going through all the coursework.

After not passing the PE exam the first time I took it in 2023, I decided that I needed to change my study method and was recommended this course by LinkedIn. I passed the PE exam with this course. I highly recommend Zach’s class if you want to pass the PE exam as he does a great job. I paid for the unlimited. I studied for 3 months, did a lot of quizzes, and solved problems. When I feel good about solving problems question then I start reading theory, I spent last month just reading and understanding the concept of protection and motors. I appeared for the exam in May and when I checked my result, I nailed it… At last, I was very thankful to Zack for helping me to get my License.

Zach's class gets you ready for essentially anything and everything the actual test throws at you while keeping it fun. I came into class as a 40 year old who was nervous about remembering some of the concepts from college I hadn't touched in literally decades. Zach is careful about teaching enough base theory on every topic to help you understand rather than memorize (without going too in the weeds), so immediately I found myself grasping topics that I had long forgotten (or in a couple of cases, never learned). When I started taking Zach's practice exams and some of his homework problems, I found myself getting nervous about my inability to crack some of them, but going through the solutions, then returning to the problems a couple of weeks later to solve them proved to be the key for me, and I passed on my first try. I highly recommend this class to all taking this test. Even if you think you can't afford it, the time you will save greatly increasing your probability of passing (thus not having to spend time studying again) should more than equal the fee.

I liked that there was an option to work at my own pace. I would recommend this course to anyone who is serious about trying to pass the PE the first time. The time commitment is worth it in the end.

I wish I had used this course sooner and taken advantage of the practice tests and problem bank. The sections with small quizzes solidified my understanding and I felt good moving on. I have recommended this course to any engineer facing this challenge.

As a working parent, I didn't have hours on end to dedicate on studying everyday. At most I had 30~60 minutes to spare. Zach's course is made up of smaller lessons, mini videos, quizzes, and printable homework's. You will find yourself completing a lot of course work in shorter amount of time; you will feel accomplished. I took Zach's OnDemand Course to really take time and learn, and then a month before my exam, I completed the recorded Live Course and homework for my review. Again, with how the lessons are structured, you will not feel overwhelmed, nor guilty for not sitting through an entire lesson. The short lesson structure made me feel comfortable with making compact daily goals. Zach's course made me a better engineer without sacrificing my family life.

I am thankful to Zach for offering the best Electrical Power PE course. I was able to pass at my first trial. His notes and videos are very informative and helpful to understand all the concepts and apply them correctly. I feel like a better engineer. Zach provided good motivation during live class and also I really enjoyed his way of teaching. It made all subjects very interesting. Thanks for your help and support throughout my learning process. I had heard about Zach's class from a former classmate and after failing my first test, was willing to give it a shot. Having received the hallowed, green "Pass", I can definitively say the class was worth every penny. I feel like Zach gives you all the tools to succeed, and drives you to use them. The PE is about knowledge, but it's also about your confidence and putting in the hard work. The test is hard haha! It is the culmination of everything for an engineer and not meant to be giving out for free. Zach's resources are fantastic, the material is well prepared, but I think more than anything, Zach does his best to foster confidence in his students. In my opinion, the test requires a certain level of confidence. 8 hours and 80 questions of tough problems don't just get answered correctly through sheer luck. I am not the typical "sign up for this class to succeed" kinda guy. I like to learn it and do it on my own if I can, but I will honestly say that I would've taken this class before my first attempt knowing what I know now. I don't know if I would've passed, but I DEFINITELY would've gone into it with a different mentality which may have made all the difference. I can only speak from having failed my first attempt. It drove me to really take my second more seriously. I didn't care about pass statistics, metrics, etc., I just wanted a chance to do better during the test and feel better after completing the test. Zach's class provided that. The long hours, lack of a personal life, lack of sleep, and months of studying are overwhelming, BUT that green pass is so worth it. I know this is the cheesy stuff that you read everywhere, but when that load is lifted and you realize that it's finally over... that feeling is indescribable. I can't promise passing for anyone, BUT I can promise you, that if you really dedicate yourself to this class for a few months, take good notes and listen to Zach's classes you will have the best chance of passing. This course was amazing! I really enjoyed the step-by-step videos and the length of videos and sections. This review did a wonderful job of splitting the topics into pieces so you can stay focused and not get bored.

Although I took the Unlimited 6-Month Package back in February last year, I didn't really make use of the live virtual review course. Instead I watched all of the recorded videos from the on-demand course since this offered more flexibility to my work/life schedule. The videos and other resources were tremendously helpful, as were Zach's words of advice and encouragement throughout the PE review journey. Nonetheless I'd highly recommend any of Zach Stone's courses and material, especially given that I not only passed the PE exam, but recently acquired the license as well.
